86,316… A little opt-in happy I guess!

So we all have things we need to catch up on in life…

well most of us that is.

some of us have everything together… I’m working on it!

I have known for a while that I have quite a few unread emails.

You probably already know what I’m going to say.

Yes. You guessed it.

I have 86,316 unread emails.

A little opt-in happy? Ya think!

It’s throughout 5 different email addresses.

Don’t worry I won’t be catching up on those anytime soon.

I am just curious now as to how many emails I have opened in my life!

Probably at least 5,000 maybe even 10,000 or more.

It’s ridiculous how fast the internet is growing.

information travels at the speed of Li.. no… soun… no THE INTERNET!

I mean twitter… Digg… Facebook.

Word travels fast.

the question is…

Is yours?

    42K in my main account…

10K of those unread! Well I know I haven’t read all of the other 32K… The ol’ “Select All” + “Mark As Read” ;)

It is amazing to see the difference in emails you get. I can ultimately catagorize them all.

    - Free content/reports emails (adswaps)
    - Giveaways
    - Cheaper $7 script and RAP products (short reports, resell rights etc)
    - Mid prices (anywhere from $27 to $47)
    - ClickBankers ($67 to $97)
    - Larger merchant account products ($197, $497, $997, $1997 etc)

I hardly read them these days. I try to mark the ones I like to educate myself for my own email follow ups and broadcasts.

Oh man, I have 1,000s of emails in tons of email accounts, I use 1 main account for “important stuff” and combine several email accounts so that I get to see a lot of different types of emails…

Yes, you can categorize your emails!

As a list owner, I wish this wasn’t the case, even though I believe I provide quality information, I know that the emails I send out can easily get lost in with all the other emails people get on a daily bases…

To combat this, I provide a lot of free stuff to my list and use a from name that stands out see: **J Bode**

Thanks for the great post David

    All the best,
