Implement the basics first!

In Business it’s so easy to get caught up in all the hype!

all of the chitter chatter about how joe smith just made $1,000,000 online in a MONTH! HOLY COW!

who cares?

honestly.

It’s awesome joe johnson did that (hypothetical character!) but why does it matter?

things like twitter, facebook and your email are distracting.

then you have internet marketers promoting software programs, books, courses, websites, services and

EVERYTHING else under the sun!

well at least it seems like that sometimes!

I love promotions because it’s good to know what’s going on in the industry and what can help you grow your business quicker.

But guys… we all need to stay focused on our business and implement the basics first.

once the basics are solid and functional in our business then we can move into advanced marketing strategies, advanced seo, advanced software site tracking etc…

these are all great things but get the backbone strong first!

This post makes for a good introduction to something much, much bigger & greater.

You mention that the basics need to be covered, but what are they?
I think, for us as internet marketers, there are a few basics that need to be covered before we can really get going:
    - domain name
    - hosting
    - autoresponder (for e-mail marketing & list building)
    - etc.

For me, the most basic of implementations is kinda holding me back. That is the knowledge to build a site. Any suggestions.

    Thanks for the insight.

    Best,
