Remember to smile… Lessons from Dale Carnegie…

Beautiful day today…

It’s about 8:41 A.M. here in Detroit.

The sun is beautiful right now… It’s just changed from that rising stage to the lighting up the sky stage!

I love it!

The beginning of a new day!

So I have a little story to tell it’s kind of funny.

I got a flat tire yesterday morning and I took it into belle tire to get it fixed.

I got 2 new front tires and was waiting in the waiting room for them to finish the job.

I get a phone call and answer it and I’m like hello.

The person on the other line is like hey this is jerry down here at belle tire with your car blah blah blah.

I was like are you serious, I’m in a waiting room 15 feet away from you and you call me to tell me about my Car!

talk about personalization right guys!

I felt special let me tell ya!

the funny thing was they just kept talking, I felt like stopping him and saying can’t we just talk face to face.

I mean after all I am in the waiting room.

Customer Service is important.

I know that first and foremost marketing is the most important because how would you have those customers to serve if you didn’t have any customers in the first place?

There is actually a big name Internet marketing company right now that I am having problems with.

They are huge! everyone knows about them, I have called customer support 2 or 3 times, emailed them and have had no response!

When I was waiting to get new tires I was reading “How to Win Friends and Influence People” by: Dale Carnegie.

I was reading about smiling.

How important it is! It’s amazing!

smiling has literally made people who they are.

You can literally build a career a legacy by smiling.

I know it sounds crazy but it’s true, just read how to win friends and influence people.

Try it smile more often, at home, work, the store… WHEREVER~

See what it does for you in your life.

In the book it say’s that people that smile effectively…

  • Teach
  • Train
  • Manage

Better than anyone who doesn’t smile.

Smiling will make you a better businessperson, better in customer service, a better salesperson and even More!

and best of all it will better the relationships in your life.

So next time you greet somebody… Remember to smile and greet everyone with warmth.

You never know how far a smile can take you…

Have an awesome day!

Remember to smile!
