wph… what’s yours?

What is your wph?
No… no… i’m not talking about words per hour (typing)!
I’m talking about an acronym i just invented!
Your WPH is…
W-Worth
P-Per
H-Hour
your worth per hour is the amount of money that your business skills are worth in one hour of work.
so…
If I were to hire you for one hour how much would it cost?
sure we can all make up a figure.
I’m worth about $1,000 an hour, $50 an hour… whatever.
Unless you are a lawyer we really don’t know how much one hour of our work is worth.
But there is a way to find out… were gonna do a little math ok?
here’s how it works.
Take your business Net profit in one day…. an average will do.
Subtract all and I mean ALL expenses so that whatever is left is Your money.
then divide that by however many hours you work on an average day.
So here is the formula.
NP-TE=WPH
NP= Net profits
TE= Total expenses
WPH= worth per hour
now you know how to calculate your worth per hour.
calculate your worth per hour and know it.
then increase it.
grow your business… your profits and your wph will grow as a result!
have an awesome night!
David King.

One of the best living business and marketing/sales leaders is Brian Tracy. He always alludes to the way entrepreneurs calculate their productivity. He always mentions that they need to calculate how much one should get paid by the hour. For example: $50/hr x 50hrs/wk x 50wks/yr (allowing for two weeks of vacation) = $125,000/yr. So what if you want to double your income? You then need to charge $100/hr, assuming all other variables are the same.
I liked this post, David. You simplified it and made it easy for all of us to understand- Thanks!
